※スカーフェイスとは…
原題：Scarfaceは、1983年のアメリカ映画。主演はアル・パチーノ。キューバからアメリカにやってきたボートピープル（難民）の青年トニー・モンタナが、コカインの密売でのし上がり、自滅していく様子を描いた映像作品。日本における公開は1984年4月。
※ストーリー
1980年、キューバから反カストロ主義者として追放されフロリダ州マイアミへ船で渡ってきた①トニー・モンタナと②マニー・リベラは、政治犯レベンガの殺害を皮切りにアメリカの裏社会で暗躍するコカイン取引きで一攫千金を狙い、麻薬王と呼ばれる③フランクの配下におさまる。独断でボリビアの④黒幕ソーサと高額取引を成立させた①トニーを危険視した③フランクは、①トニーの殺害を試みるが失敗。逆に①トニーは③フランクを殺害し、③フランクの座は①トニーに奪取されることとなる。全てを手にし、ふと空を眺める①トニーの目に映ったのは、宣伝用の飛行船に書かれた”The World is Yours”（世界はあなたのもの）の文字だった。③フランクの大邸宅と⑤情婦エルヴィラを手にし、マイアミの麻薬王として君臨する①トニーだったが、次第に⑤エルヴィラや②マニーと確執が生じるようになり、自身も麻薬の大量摂取により崩壊していく。ある時、脱税の摘発をきっかけに麻薬取締りの手が①トニーと④ソーサ達を包囲し始める。事態を打開しようとした④ソーサは、麻薬取締り委員会最高顧問の殺害を①トニーに依頼。依頼を了承し④ソーサが差し向けた殺し屋と共に爆殺を試みるが、家族と一緒の場面を見て関係のないファミリーを巻き添えにすることを躊躇した①トニーは、家族皆殺しを決行しようとする④ソーサの部下を逆に射殺し、大邸宅へと引き返す。そして、①トニーが溺愛するあまりに素行の乱れた妹⑥ジーナのことで母に罵られ苛立つ①トニーは、⑥ジーナと弟分②マニーが結婚していた事実を知らずに衝動的に②マニーを射殺してしまう。裏切り者を始末しようと武装した④ソーサ一味は、①トニーの大邸宅を襲撃する。激しい銃撃戦の中、部下をはじめ妹⑥ジーナまでも失った①トニーは、1人で敢然と④ソーサ一味に立ち向かうが、無数の銃弾を浴び息絶える。①トニーの死体を見下ろすように、オブジェに記された”The World is Yours”（世界はあなたのもの）の文字が輝く。（wikiより出典）
